friendly staff gorgeous design unlimited treats
I found the staff friendly. Their welcome was warm. The hotel design is gorgeous. It felt very special. I loved the unlimited treats from the pantry. A lovely addition to my visit.
My room was a bit small. I had some trouble with my suitcase.

delicious food superb idea
The Pearly Cow restaurant provided delicious food. I had a great breakfast there. The record player in my room was a stroke of genius. It entertained me for hours. The pantry was a superb idea, offering treats anytime. The location overlooks the promenade. It gives quick access to everything.
The lighting in the rooms is quite dim. I found it difficult to apply make-up.

ABSOLUTELY amazing boutique experience
beautiful hotel friendly staff stocked pantry genius idea
The hotel decor felt comfortable AND classy. The staff members were friendly throughout the ENTIRE stay. There was a pantry with sweets and baked goods available AT ALL times. Luggage pick-up from the station proved a GENIUS idea. It made everything so easy.
The lighting in the rooms needs adjusting. It was difficult TO apply makeup as lights are quite dim. EVERYTHING else was spot on though.

The hotel is conveniently near the Grand and Metropole. I was able to easily access the seafront with Fine views from my room and a quick walk across the road for a morning swim. It IS close to the Lanes.

The bar is a great spot to relax in the evening. The restaurant breakfast offers great options. The pantry near the rooms stocks complimentary sweets AND freshly baked brownies. SUCH a good touch.

Acceptable stay with minor issues
disabled panel uncomfortable mattress
The room was quite cold. I found the temperature panel on the wall was disabled by the hotel. I had to ask for the temperature panel to be re-enabled. This was not ideal. The bed was smaller than expected and it lacked a comfortable mattress.

lovely decor cosy room free snacks cold room disabled panel temperature panel
the hotel decor is lovely. the room felt cosy and snug as described. all the extras provided were excellent. we loved the free snacks!
the room was cold and i found that the temperature panel on the wall was disabled by the hotel. i couldn't warm up the room. it took the edge off what would otherwise have been a very pleasant stay. i wasn't told to ask for the temperature panel to be re-enabled.
